Children’s Medical Association offers the care your child needs from Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners who are leaders in their fields. Founder Dr. Joe Caplan was a pediatrician on Long Island, N.Y., and moved to Florida to retire. Dr. Caplan soon discovered he was not ready for a life of leisure, and opened the first office of Children’s Medical Association near Plantation General Hospital in 1966.
The practice currently has a team of nine board-certified pediatricians and eight advanced nurse practitioners, serving patients seven days per week, 365 days per year at CMA’s offices in Miramar, Plantation, Tamarac, and Coral Springs, and through telemedicine services when desired.
